STRAIGHT TRUCK DRIVER

We are looking for a motivated and personable new truck driver to join our team! Our truck drivers are the face of our company, so we look for people-oriented and self-starters! We are a small family owned and operated company out of Mansfield, OH in the sanitation industry. This position would primarily be for the portable toilet truck operator position which means no CDL would be required. Upon having a CDL, additional work would be available at a higher pay rate with work including Septic and Roll-Off Truck Driver work.

Part Time: Approximately 30 hours (Additional available to those with CDL or mechanical experience)
Rate: $12 to $15 per hour

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for operating a company truck and driving to various locations to deliver, pick-up, and service portable sanitation units.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed.

1. Conduct daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediately. Also, report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Supervisor/Manager.

2. Operate flat bed truck or truck & trailer to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information to deliver or pick-up portable restroom units, hand sinks or holding tanks. Updates tickets with relevant delivery or pick-up detail.

3. Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatch to receive additional instructions, changes to work locations, etc.

4. Following the Company’s safety guidelines, properly secures portable restrooms & holding tanks to appropriate vehicle/equipment. Assist yard personnel, when necessary to load and unload portable restroom units, hand sinks or holding tanks.

5. Ensure that units are stocked with paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. prior to leaving the yard. Works with yard personnel to stock units if anything is missing.

6. Service Portable Restrooms in the field by pumping, cleaning down, and restocking units.

7. Follow all established safety rules & regulations.

8. Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.

9. Special/other projects as assigned by management.

 

10. Diesel Mechanic skills preferred  (Additional hours available) 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Note: This position is subject to periodic quality control checks by a designated Company representative.

QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1 year straight truck experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to perform simple arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, and divide). Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency, measurement, weight, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Driver License

CDL (Class B) Preferred but NOT REQUIRED

We are looking for an independent yard technician to join our team! We are a small family owned and operated company out of Mansfield, OH in the sanitation industry. This position would primarily be cleandown, shop organization and repairs of portable restrooms.

Approximately 20 hours

Rate: $9 -$10 per hour

PRIMARY PURPOSE:  Performing a variety of yard duties and preventative maintenance activities to help keep assets, equipment and yard/facility in good working condition. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Clean, repair and restore portable restrooms, containers and other company assets.

  2. Organize and store assets appropriately.

  3. Tidy work stations and general shop area.

  4. Inform Supervisor of material used throughout the day.  Report any problems found on equipment throughout the day to supervisor.

  5. Units must be completely checked and repaired before delivery and upon return.

  6. Conducts general facility maintenance and minor repairs as needed. 

  7. Assist with the retrofitting of special or high end units.

  8. Occasionally uses forklift for loading and unloading assets (toilets, sinks, etc.)

  9. Occasionally assist in deliveries, pickups and services as well as assist with septic jobs as needed.

  10. Follow safety rules: utilizes protective clothing and equipment, reports safety hazards and incidents to supervisors.

  11. Special/Other projects as assigned by management.
